It's an extremely useful and practical book on all aspects of getting published, dealing this all those awkward details that writers would really rather not have to deal with but must. Besides the how-to of getting agents, dealing with editors, publicity etc, there are example query letters, proposals, contracts etc. It may not be totally up to date on self-publishing and e-book formats but with the speed of change, that would be hard.
