This is a biography of the Greek nation, which tells about the Greeks during the time that they were powerful. It has lots of information about the cities, laws, beliefs, and ways of life. It also tells briefly about the fall of Greece and how Rome used some of the Greeks ways for their own culture.

I like this book simple because it is history. I enjoy reading about history and different cultures. This is one book that I will use in my classroom when talking about world history. I like all the facts this book shares with the readers about the Greeks.

The book would be a great extension for world history when covered in the classroom. I would also have the students compare and contrast the Greeks of ancients’ times to the modern United show more States. show less
