A picture book that uses the word "nice," especially a rhyming one, automatically gets deducted one star. Ug. This alphabet book's appeal comes mainly from its bright cheery pictures. As far as alphabet books go, this one doesn't have a cohesive theme, but rather lists various animals, objects, and feelings that start with each letter in the alphabet. Ideas are often disconnected: "P is for peaceful, piglet, and pear." Happily, there are other objects in the pictures that match the letters, so there's a seek-and-find element that makes this good for a lap read
K is for Kissing a Cool Kangaroo is a rhyming alphabet book. The sayings are very cute and they rhyme, but I'm unsure if this is actually poetry. This book is very carefree and cute, and I think it is truly enjoyable for a younger audience. The pictures are also pretty and vibrant.
This alphabet book goes through all the letters of the alphabet and show different animals and objects that start with the specific letter the page is about. I loved this book I though it was the cutest thing ever. In the back of the book there are a couple of pages that list different items on each page that start with the designated letter. I would have this book not just in my classroom library, but I wold have it in my personal library as well. I would suggest this to other teacher because I think it is a fun way to teach students more about the alphabet.
As far as alphabet books go, K Is for Kissing a Cool Kangaroo was cute. It lacked plot because it is an alphabet book. Despite the lacking plot, I feel like children would really enjoy this book because of the illustrations. The illustrations were colorful and there was an above average amount of pictures to look at on a page, but not in a distracting way.
This book is good for small children learning the alphabet. Each page has a different letter and pictures of things that start with that certain letter. The pages are full of bright beautiful colors that catches the reader's eyes. There are items on each page for everyone, not just a specific reader. The words are easy to follow along with and also rhyme with the page before it.
Children will learn and remember the alphabet from this colorful and vibrant rhyming ABC book with lovable animal characters. On each page, an alphabet is displayed, both in uppercase and lowercase, either on the top left or top right, depending on whether the page is odd or even. Besides the letter, for each alphabet, there are animals and objects that start with that particular alphabet. For instance, for the letter L, there is a lion, llama, lamb, and a leopard. However, the downside of the book is that not all objects are named.
An A-Z book that teaches children the alphabet through cute and funny alliterations. The book has fun illustrations as well. It also shows the students the capitalized and lower case version of the letters, which I think is a nice addition.
