This is an old book, and many of the quotations are older still. However, it does have a lot of quotations about a ton of different things, from poems and random novels to the bible and newspaper articles. I wish there weren't quite so *many* quotes from the bible, it does seem to lean heavily that way. But it's an interesting book to open to a random page and read a quote or two about a random subject. ( )

This book is very handy for those situations where you want to look smart. Whether trying to impress a member of the opposite sex or ... I don't know. That's what I use it for. ( )
