This is an enjoyable simple Jacqueline Wilson, which might be a good first book for children who are not ready for the darker themes of some of her books. Martie and Melissa are sisters, Marty is an untidy imaginative tomboy, Melissa is older and like things to be neat. They have to share a room, because their Dad's business fails and so Marty's bedroom becomes a sewing room for her mum. There's a lot of 'I don't like pink / frilly / girly stuff', which might be annoying if you did!
Enjoyable book to read. Humerus. Recommended for people aged 7-14 due to the language. Very easy to read and understand it is about two sisters. The older sister is a girly girl and thinks her tomboy little sister is ridiculous because of her comics and superheroes.
One of the best books I have ever read
I am not so fond of girly Melissa but like tom boy Marty.
