Il dottor Bormasch, un industriale cecoslovacco che ha inventato le piastre di protezione per i carri armati, fugge in Inghilterra dopo l'invasione tedesca di Praga. Sua figlia Anna lo raggiunge, ma entrambi vengono arrestati dalla Gestapo che li riporta a Berlino.
