Revisiting all the Coulters for the Christmas holiday. Very nice peeking into their lives again and celebrating the holidays and feeling the deep love and family

This books give us the whole Colter family POV in one book. We get to see what is going on in the lives of Holly, Adam, Ethan and Ryan. Its been 30 years since they found her lying in that ditch. Holly has become the matriarch of the family. But when something happens to her the family struggles to keep it together.

In Lily, Seth, Michael and Dillon previous book we learned about Lily heartbreaking past and watched her come back to life through the love of Seth, Michael and Dillon. When life throw's her an unexpected surprise she doesn't deal with it real well at first. But her men stand by her and their love convinces her that they can face anything together.

Callie and Max have been married a little while now and we get to see how the D/s relationship is working in there marriage. But when Max's sister is abused by a boyfriend Callie insist that they go and get her and bring her back to live with them so her family can surround her with love and hopefully start the healing process. (I think Max's sister is going to to be the 5th book in the series)

This was a great catch up book of the family with touches of some real family emergencies and drama that they all have to work through but do so beautifully as the love in this family is so strong. ( )

Sort of not worth the effort. There could have been a short blog post with the section about Lily online. I'm guessing there's another book some where down the line since Lauren's story seems to be half-formed. ( )

The Colters is one of my all time favourite menage series. Banks had turned strong men into real people with genuine emotions and thoughts.
This book is the story of all the married kids and spouses home for Christmas and Holly wanting it to be special.
Banks was still in tune with the men. I think Holly's Adam, Ryan and Ethan haven't lost it. Neither did they gain anything. Lilly's Michael, Seth and Dillion were still hot compassionate and understanding men and they demonstrated their passion just finnnne.
Max, Callie's Dom, was way too sweet. Enough to gag on. He seemed to be trying to make ammends from the last book and it was over done.

Lilly has her Christmas surprise as does Holly. Lilly was a whiner from page one. I don't remember that in her book. Holly is still the matriarch but with love. Oh that word... it so over used here that it became annoying. Is there no synonyms for it?

The book was a disappointment I am sorry to say. Sorry because it let the series down big time. I hope the next in the series will breath life back.

I really enjoyed this reconnection with the whole Colter family. A beautiful story as the younger generation begin to settle down and start their own lives. ( )
