This is a book of poetry celebrating twins. Every type of twin you could think of such as siamese twins, fraternal and identical is talked about in this book. Great illustrations and a very different book than any I've read. It is an easy and fun read. ( )

I originally chose this book because my brother and sister are twins. After reading the poems, I found it to be so relatable and ended up sharing it with the two of them. I love that the authors separated the poems by categories: "twins in the waiting womb", "twinfants", "how to be one" and "famous twins." I don't think that there are many children's books about twins, so this was a great example of both representing twins and all of the different situations that may occur if you are a twin. For example, there were poems about siamese twins, fighting over space in the mother's stomach, getting confused for the other identical twin, and many more. I also enjoyed how there were interesting facts about twins on a few pages. I think that because this is a poetry book, there were so many more opportunities for the authors to be creative. The pictures on each page also enhanced the poems, whether they be silly or serious. This book is truly a celebration of twins and I think that even those who may not be a twin themselves will be able to enjoy this poetry book. ( )

This is a unique book that is all about twins! Each poem talks about the lives of twins and there are fun facts about twins through this book. I chose this book because I am a faternal twin myself and I couldn't pass up the chance to hear what others have to say about being a twin! Each poem is unique and most always playful and fun with very cute and sometimes suprising illustrations that share every different set of twins. From the womb, to learning to walk and talk, this book cover it all!

This would be a perfect gift for a mother or father of twins, or for twin children. Poems explore twin lift from the womb through childhood. Fun facts about twins are included as footnotes to some of the poems. This is truly a celebration of twins! ( )
