Every child wants to know they'll be loved no matter what. Ralph is even naughtier than they are, and he's still loved... reassuring. Oh, and funny, too.
Wow is Rotten Ralph a rotten cat! I'm guessing children like to read a story where the character can get away with being more rotten than is bearable. Can't say I'm a fan of Rotten Ralph.
