Another great one for someone like me who loves adventure. I think many readers would love to see the bike ride and would be a great addition in the classroom, even with the funny-looking characters. ( )

Bonnie really wants a bike and for an entire week it's all she talks about. When her parents finally get her a bike, she is so excited she hops on and starts peddling. She was so excited she wasn't even thinking about how this was her first time on a bike and how she doesn't really know how to ride one. When she realizes she doesn't know how to stop, she just imagines all the places she would love to ride and the illustrations show the kids all the beautiful places. After the best bike ride ever, Bonnie falls off and scrapes her knee. When her dad helps her and makes sure she is OK, he teachers her how to ride a bike the right way and especially teaches her where the brakes are and how to stop! ( )

Bonnie wants a bike, and for a whole week she lets everyone know. She finally gets a bike and jumps on without learning how to stop. Eventually, after the best bike ride ever, she falls off and scrapes her knee. He daddy makes her get back on and finally teaches her how to stop. But... now what does Bonnie want? ( )

The main character of the "Best Bike Ride Ever" is a about a girl who begged her parents to buy her a bike. She begged them for a bike for a whole week. She then rides the bike everywhere excitedly. She is hurt and bumps into something and hits herself. Her parents help her by putting a band-aid on where she was hurt and a helmet for extra protection. I like how this book is for adventuring. It has a lot of action and terrific pictures. I think that this is a good book for Pre-K through first grade. It teaches us about a little girl and her parents good care of her. ( )
