From the back: KC Corcoran always watches the news. So it’s no surprise that she notices right away when the president starts acting funny on TV. He’s stiff and awkward. He’s even signing papers with the wrong hand. There’s only one explanation–the president has been cloned! And it’s up to KC and her best friend, Marshall, to save him.

Mine: Seems like this could be a great series for my nephew who love mysteries. This is written by the same person who writes the Alphabet Mysteries. How often do you get a report to write about a president and then get to save his life? Fortunely KC notices a newcast that there is something wrong when the President signs a law. Can she and Marshall find the real President in time?

The first in a series of easy readers, this installment introduces the characters of KC and Marshall, two fourth graders who have in interest in politics, as well as insects and spiders. The two friends are trouble-makers, but their intentions are good and the outcome of their adventures is success. Black-and-white sketches scattered throughout the book depict some of the more interesting scenes. Boys and girls alike will relate to KC and Marshall and will love solving the mystery with them. ( )

WHo Cloned the President was such a cute book that I really enjoyed reading. The book was about two friends who helped save the president because the president had been kidnapped and cloned. This book would be a good 4th grade read aloud or class read. I think students of that age would really enjoy this book, just as I enjoyed reading it.
