Le dragon-serpent sème la terreur dans un petit port de Chine où il détruit tout. Une jeune fille y attend désespérément son amoureux. Les marchands la méprisent car ils n'aiment pas ce qui est superficiel, les gens qui rêvent sans rien faire. Elle est si heureuse lorsqu'un jeune homme lui déclare son amour qu'elle danse. Charmé le dragon-serpent l’emmène avec lui au fond de l'océan. Lorsqu'il dort celle-ci l'attache et le livre aux villageois... Belle histoire, belles illustrations ( )
