Forever Changes (Thirty Three and a Third series)

With its liberal use of quotations from other sources, this book reads at times like a university dissertation and who knows? perhaps it was. The author's style is a little clunky in places, but he covers the disenchantment and destructiveness of young Americans in the late 'sixties (and how it tied in with the music) pretty well. Most importantly of all, for me anyway, was that Hultkrans made me fall head over heels in love with an album that I'd had for years but never really cared about. I look forward to reading other books in this series.
