This is weird on multiple levels. I'm not sure why this was published out of order, but even if it had been published in chronological order, the major players in this story besides Trey were little more than caricatures. I wanted to love Reagan, but her badass, rock chick persona was completely at odds with her weird, idiotic dynamic with Ethan. He's gay. No really, we used to have a ton of sex, he's told me he's bi, but I saw him having sex with a guy once and now I treat him like a sexless Ken doll gay friend. The only plausible reason for Ethan to put up with this is a desire to win Reagan back, which is completely at odds with his aggressive moves on Trey (thus recreating the same behavior that broke Reagan and Ethan up in the show more first place). Cunning bends over backwards to create some plausible sexual constellation for a sustained menage, but in doing so sacrifices any depth or believability in her characters. Everyone is mechanical and predictable, and utterly un-Cunning. show less
Sigh… Trey Mills, finally.
I really, really, REALLY wanted to wait for book 3 and 4 to come out first, but I just couldn’t wait any longer – I just HAD to read it.
He is my absolute favorite Sinner and I loved to the see different sides of him. I expected a different vibe for this book, goofier somehow but I still loved the way he was portrayed. His vulnerabilities were explored which you rarely get to see as he tends to cover them with jokes. No worries though, there are still plenty scenes that’ll make you laugh.
I felt like Reagan was a really great match for him, although I’d be a much better match ;). She was a very likeable character that I liked reading about and she, too, has vulnerabilities and prejudices to overcome. show more With Ethan however I had some troubles, I didn’t like him as much.
But even not liking Ethan, the sex scenes were amazing and if you like variety, there’s MM, MFM and FM – so everyone should find something they like ;-)
I want my own Trey Mills, please! And while I wait for him to arrive, I’m already excite to read Jace’s story. show less

This was the first book that I’ve read by Olivia Cunning and it definitely won’t be the last. I was very happy to learn that this books stands all by itself, although the couples from the prior two books do make appearances, having read their stories isn’t a must. And I’ve always been a little curious about the rock star lifestyle, so when this book crossed my path, I knew I needed to read it. From page one, the reader is thrown into the erotic world of rock ‘n’ roll and I for one was thrilled to go on this ride.
Trey Mills is quite the character. He’s one of the guitarists from The Sinners. He’s bisexual and has it bad for his best show more friend and band mate. But said band mate, Brian, is married and a new father and Trey decides that he needs to let go. So, he swears off men and then he meets Reagan (a girl, by the way) and they become inseparable and a whirlwind courtship begins. But Trey has sexual needs that Reagan can’t fulfill and Trey tries his best not to stray. Enter Ethan, Reagan’s ex, who is also bisexual… and oh boy, what was a erotic book up to that point, well, it bursts into flames.
I really enjoyed the sweetness, even though the sex was hot, romance between Reagan and Trey. Both of them have had disappointing love lives in their past, but are drawn to each other. But Reagan doesn’t know about Trey’s previous lifestyle and throughout much of the book, he’s hiding his urges and tempering his wilder cravings. Reagan on the other hand is trying to adjust to being the new guitarist in Exodus End (Trey’s brother’s band) and the limelight that it brings… on top of being Trey’s girlfriend. Watching these two get past all their issues and actually blossom was fun… and when they brought Ethan in, well, pass me a daiquiri and fan.
Once I got reading, I didn’t want to stop. Yes, I think the book would have been enhanced by having read the prior books. But, I was able to keep up and really didn’t feel like I was missing out on anything but a little backstory regarding Trey’s band mates. However, all I needed to know was given to me in this story and I was more than pleased with the result. And I think the only thing that really drug the story down was Trey’s well, obsession with Brian. I was tired of it relatively quickly and wanted it resolved sooner rather than later. But that was really more a minor irritation and didn’t take away from the overall enjoyment of the story.
Fair warning there is m/m action from the first page. So, if that’s not your thing, I wouldn’t suggest this book. show less

By far the best book of the series. Great story, laughed out loud many times. The sex was hot but it never seemed overwhelming like previous books. Reagan is incredibly open sexually and watching Trey and her work out their relationship and accepting his bisexual nature was well done.
4.5 Stars
GoodReads Synopsis: Olivia Cunning delivers the perfect blend of steamy sex, heartwarming romance, and a wicked sense of humor in this menage story featuring the hottest guy in the Sinners band.
Trey Mills, the notoriously sexy Sinners rhythm guitarist, gives up his bisexual lifestyle and is swept into a hot, heady romance with Reagan Elliot, a female rock star sensation. But when Trey encounters Reagan's sexy bisexual roommate, Ethan Conner, he can no longer deny who he is or what he wants. Reagan heartily agrees to a solution that opens up a hot new world of sexual experience--and love--with the two men she wants the most.
**WARNING this is an ADULT title intended for an audience of 18+**
My Thoughts: LOVED this book…but, I show more gotta warn you. The publisher has decided to print this title out of the order the author intended. This book was intended to be the last book in the Sinners series. So it spoils some of the two books in this series which still have to come out, those of Eric and Jace. So consider this a word of warning…don’t read any further is you HATE spoilers…also you might want to pick up the book and just hold onto it until you get a chance to read Jace and Eric’s books first.
This was a great story and a beautiful summation to the series which still has two books to publish. OK, I’ll get off this soapbox now. Trey has been pining for Brian since they were kids and he is finally forced to move on. But as he makes this realization he meets Reagan who really sets his world on end. But can Trey really be happy with Reagan in the long run?
Ultimately it’s a story about accepting yourself and others as they are. The heart can’t help who it loves, it’s the brain we have to convince sometimes. I think Cunning gives Trey an authentic voice and she’s maintained that authenticity throughout. Trey’s lived the rocker lifestyle of sex drugs and rock-n-roll, even he isn’t sure he is ready to settle down, but I think watching what has happened with his bandmates who have settled down, happily, really rattles him as he wonders if he can ever have what they have. Cunning found, created, the perfect girl for him in Reagan. She loves Trey wholeheartedly and only wants to see him happy. It was good to see Trey finally happy. He’s got such a huge heart hidden behind all the bluff and bluster.
Looking forward, still, to Jace and Eric’s stories. I will be sad when Sinners comes to an end, because they are some awesome rockers! show less

First Impressions
Double Time is the fifth installment in the "Sinners on Tour" but I do know that when it was first released it was done out of order so just make sure you know when to read this one so that you don't get spoiled for other couples. I do think it makes sense to read this series in order. show more This is a menage a trois romance and Olivia Cunning really handled Trey's book just right. Seeing him find his HEA and find peace from his heart being broken by Brian was so satisfying. And the ending was so beautiful and I will be honest in that it lifted this book's rating from being a 4 star up to a 4.5 rating and I can only say that Olivia Cunning really knows how to pack her emotional punches. And its books like this in why I really have become endeared by erotic romances. The layers of emotion and intimacy in this book just digs so deep. I really loved the way in which this author adds different types of intimacy.
First Line
"Trey" The sound of Brian's deep voice tugged at Trey's heart.
Summary
Double Time is a story that features three characters although the main focus is really Trey and Reagan. So Reagan has been hired as a new female rock star and will be working with the Sinners on a tour. Her style of playing is very close to Brian's. Reagan and Trey instantly form an connection, and after a steamy night together, both of them feel a deeper connection and want to make a go of a serious relationship. Then enters Ethan Conner, who is best friend to Reagan but will also be functioning as her bodyguard. They were once in a relationship until Ethan was in bed with another man. There is also a connection between Ethan and Trey. Trey is bisexual but keeps it hidden. But Reagan demands honesty more than anything else and the three of them work on building a relationship together. They all have some issues to work through but also fire explodes between them all in the bedroom.
What I Loved
There are many aspects to this story that instantly worked for me. The first is being the close ties of the Sinners. I just love each and every character. They all have such close bonds to each other and I absolutely can't seem to get enough of seeing them all together. We also see what a great team they are in the various ways that they learn to support each other. We see Brian especially suffering being a new father and being apart from his family, and how its affecting the band and how they may lose the heart of the band. And then we have the romance that builds between Try, Reagan and Ethan. This is a unique dynamic that builds in some unsuspecting ways. I really didn't expect this menage to form in the way that it does. Its centered around Trey. Trey has hidden so much of himself and seeing him at a loss in this book was so heartbreaking as a reader especially as you invest yourself into the series. But seeing the way in which these all build it together and fight for each other and not just sexually. This is what I adore about erotic romance especially with Olivia Cunning writing it, is the emotional and intellectual layers that are blended in with the sexual scenes. Seeing their intimacy form in these scenes are so vital and I instantly wanted them to fight for each other and find a way towards their HEA.
What I Struggled With
There is only one aspect to this story I really couldn't like....the cheating from Ethan. I know its in the past and everything and even though there is some remorse, I do wish this element had been more explored to add more dimension to Ethan's character. He just seemed more on the surface and I wanted to see more with him as a character. Also get this book through your library or Hoopla, I do NOT understand the high price of the kindle book on this series.

Olivia Cunning can pen a sex scene better than any other smut author I've read. Mix in two bi-sexual men and their girlfriend, and this book burned my insides, giving me chills like no other book has. (And with the number of erotica books I've read, that's saying a lot.) Trey's story is not so different from Cunning's other Sinners On Tour books, but I don't read Olivia Cunning for a twisted plot-line or multi-layered cast of characters. I read Olivia Cunning for the creative, quiver-inducing sex scenes that go on for several delicious chapters, feeding my fantasies.
Double Time comes out in November, and when it's released, buy it, hide out, and finish every last drop.
