Started reading today January 27th, 2013.
The Blu-ray of the movie is on its way to me, so I thought i might finish the book before watching it.
Rather short book, so finished yesterday, January 28th, 2013
Looking forward to watching the film.
Half twist, no real surprise, at least not for me.
Could have been a real case, reminded me of "Jack Ketchum's Girl next door" (which is based on a real case). ( )

This is a book based on the screenplay of the film starring Jennifer Lawrence. I can see how it would make for an entertaining film. However, it lacks the depth of characterisation and plot to be a good novel. If, at fewer than 200 pages, it qualifies as a novel. ( )

She even gets to know her unusual neighbor, quiet but sweet Ryan, who still lives in the house where his sister killed his parents. Seeing him still dealing with the loss of his family, Elissa connects with Ryan, helping him to grieve for his parents and his sister, Carrie Anne.
