Carly used the identity of her friend whom had died in a car accident, in fear of being returned to the foster home at age 17. She developed in the arts with her paintings and loved a young man (short term). He was from a very well to do family and when on his way back to her and his son he died in a car accident. His mother sent her lawyer to retrieve the child and Carly once again had to hide. She moved to a town that fell in love with her and Christopher. A PI found them and fell in love as well. I liked the ending when all involved joined together as one.
