Nathaniel has two very important decisions to make. Should he return to the states and be a slave to society, or stay in the Rocky Mountains and live free? If that isn't enough, he also must fight off a Blackfoot war party and decide whether or not to grant a dieing Shoshone warrior's request for him to marry his daughter. This book mixes romance, and an epic struggle for survival all into one great adventure.
