Always fun to hear about the early days of the band, and its covered here in some detail, but nothing that you can't find elsewhere. When it gets to the late '80s, with the band starting to fall apart it kind of skims over the gritty stuff. Better to scour YouTube if you really want to get a feel for what was going on. Not a fan of Mick Wall but this is one of his more enjoyable biogs. ( ) mick wall did a great job documenting all things good and trepidacious of the heavy metal band Iron Maiden. he did it in such times when the usual lead singer (bruce dickinson) was out and the replacement (blaze bayley) stepped in. i say, try and sing like bruce on stage in front of heavy metal ravenous fans and see if YOU hold up! there's a bit of something for every Iron Maiden fan here, and it should be included in their library. (any maiden fan worth their salt has an open mind and an unusual library to say the least!!) UP THE IRONS! no reviews | add a review

Wikipedia in English (47)This official biography is an accurate and unflinching account of the highs and lows that have accompanied the rise to fame of Britain's hardest rocking band. It demonstrates the artistic validity of Iron Maiden as much as their commercial impact. No library descriptions found. |
