Ms. Frizz and her class take the magic school bus for a ride through the solar system. They visit all the planets including Pluto. The book was published well before the recent discovery that Pluto after as is not a planet. There are plenty of interesting facts regarding each planet complied in a report written by each student. They learn about solar and rocket power, the space station, asteroids, the sun, and much more. These chapter books do not veer far from the original composition of the screen play episodes. Each page is filled with a little suspense or interesting scientific information. I will keep recommending this book to young readers.
Genre: Science Fiction - This book is a good example of science fiction because it gives us information about science such as planets and the solar system just like this book, but it is fiction because some of it is something that cannot really happen. With this book the students can learn a lot, but they can also enjoy a fictional story. It is a really good way to learn, it will make the students want to learn about science.

Plot: The plot of this story was very interesting, it is just kept going and going and it kept my attention the whole time. It did have a beginning and middle and an end, and it had a really interesting conflict (it had a few) and the climax of the story was really well done. If anything of the plot was different it show more would not of been as good.

Art Media: Pen drawings

Style: A style that I thought was well developed in this story was the imagery, I could picture what was going on the whole time. It made it more interesting to read.
