I've been vegan since 2009, and it is the best shift I've ever made. Rory Freedman's first book, Skinny Bitch, led me down this road, and her last book, Beg, encompasses all the reasons why I no longer eat, wear, or otherwise use animals.

Seasoned vegans won't find much new in the pages, but if you love animals or have never stopped to consider how the food on your plate came to be, I recommend this book. ( )
