In the story “Dixie and The Big Bully,” Emma is always there for Dixie and Dixie is always there for Emma! So, when Emma is having trouble at school with one of her classmates, Dixie is there to be by her friend's side. Even when Emma tells Dixie to leave, Dixie tries to helper her find a solution. This book is great because it shows hoe friendship can help shape us as people, and it shows children how to become even a bully’s friend. This Book Promotes Pro-Social behavior and allows the children to see things from a different point of view. The illustrations for this story are realistic, but the text is more mature making this good for children ages 6-8
