There is more information about how to crochet rather than patterns. The patterns themselves were nice, no horrendous granny rainbow chic in sight. There was a tiny amount of patterns, much of which was repeated and done better in the later edition by DK.
An okay book but the later Crochet: The Complete Step by Step Guide by DK was a great improvement. (
