I will be honest at first this book slow for me, but once it picked up it grabbed me and I could not put it down!

Olivia has on the surface the perfect life. A great job, great friends, and a man that loves her. But sometimes that just isn't enough. Sometimes doing what you think you should do isn't always the best decision. I thought this would be hard to read since it deals with cheating. But it wasn't. I can't help but feel for Olivia. Bill her husband isn't perfect. Now I know no one is perfect but he just didn't seem to get her. It is like being together they are both playing it safe. They both shy away from being themselves in front of one another. Olivia is always show more saying she is fine, and Bill never seems to pick up or care to push her for more. To find out how she really feels. He is more focused on his wants and work. When Olivia and David meet there is this pull. But she does try to fight it. I have to give her credit for resisting, he made it damn hard too.

Sometimes in life you find the person you are supposed to be with too late. I feel like this is the case with Olivia and David. There was more between these two than I ever saw between Olivia and Bill. I am not saying I agree with what happened here, but that I can see the pull. It was more than being tempted by someone's body. What goes on between Olivia and David is deeper, it is truly a mind-body-soul connection. Never have I read a book that justifies what happened so well. I can't help but jump into the next book immediately!

I rcvd this book as an ARC from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

This is one of those books that although I wanted to stop reading it at times...I couldnt.

It is the story of Liv and her marriage to Bill. Being married a few years they find themselves stagnant and wanting different things. Liv has emotional baggage and shuts herself off from Bill and her 2 closest friends. Until she meets David Dylan.

I really could have done without some of the interaction with her friends it got kind of boring. I am led to believe that maybe Bill is having an affair as his behavior and long work hours are suspicious. Something is going on in his work life that is causing Liv to be in danger. This opens the door wide open for handsome bachelor show more David to slip right in.

I will say their sex scenes are graphic, which I am ok with. With that being said I wish the author would not have used F*@*k so much. I think it makes it vulgar. Some reviewers are not liking this book due to it is a married women and an affair. I liked the book because that part seems believeable. The part I struggle with is the night in shining armour and how obsessed he seems already with Liv.

OMG a cliffhanger! I say this because the book just ends. I kept turning the page hoping for more, but there wasn't. I look forward to the next book to see what happens next. Because of the cliffhanger I give this book 4 stars.

This book is about a married woman (Olivia) who has a great job, loving husband, and strong friendships. She feels content in life until she sees sexy David across the room. After days of thinking about the mystery guy, she finally comes face to face with him. There is an instant connection and Olivia can't help but ask what it would be like to be with another man.

David knows he shouldn't feel the way he does, but he can't help it. Going back and forth between keeping his distance and not being able to get enough, he finally loses himself within the beautiful Olivia. Together the sparks fly and their romance is quite addicting.

I found myself intrigued by this book. I was in love with David and despised Bill (her husband). I honestly show more thought he was cheating, the way he was out of town all of the time. He was always pressuring Olivia, so I totally understand why she would have eyes for someone else.

I enjoyed this book a lot... I just wish there was more David and less friend time. The friend time reminded me of Sex & the City. Too many side stories and not enough of the main characters. There was however some suspense, which really added to the story.
I LOVE SOME DRAMA.

Overall this is a great read. I recommend it to mature readers!

Olivia Germaine has already found love. Devoted wife, loyal friend, determined career woman - she’s created the life she always envisioned.

But when Olivia locks eyes with a handsome stranger across a crowded room, he peers a little too closely and sees emotions she thought she’d buried long ago.

David Dylan, alleged playboy and eternal bachelor, challenges Olivia to confront the life she’s built and to make decisions that could either lead to happiness . . . or regret.

Will Olivia be able to draw the line between lust and love?

And can David respect that line?

On an evening out with friends, Olivia, married to Bill and a magazine editor in training, spots a man across a crowded theatre one evening. She is instantly attracted to him show more even before knowing his name.
She subsequently meets up with him several times, mostly via chance, and learns that his name is David and that he is one of the most eligible bachelors on the scene, but is also a bit of a “player”
On returning from an evening meeting with David, she gets violently accosted in the street by the brother of one if Bills clients, looking for Bill (who is a lawyer)

Much of the first half of the book is taken with Olivia socialising around Chicago with her friends and occasionally Bill. Once in a while she meets David, apparently by accident. There is also tension between Bill and Olivia, as he like sports, wants kids and to move to the suburbs. Olivia prefers the city, socialising and doesn't want kids even after 3 years of marriage as she still feels "not ready". Bill is conveniently away much of the time on business. Because Bill isn't there when she gets attacked these events push her more into the sphere of David.

As the weeks go past, Olivia finds her carefully set up life unravelling - the coming undone of the title and in the end she makes the decision she has been trying to resist all along.

The book ends.....with an ending. It's not necessarily the one you want or expect and leaves plenty of loose ends open. I don't know if these characters will return in a later book in the series.
Some of the characters and plot lines could possibly have been expounded out more. Olivia's relationship with her father doesnt seem particularly strong and both parents make only one appearance each in the book. I don't know if this is to demonstrate Olivia's emotional remoteness but she seems to treat her father in the same way as her mother which seems a little unfair considering what is revealed later in the book.

Olivia being married to somebody else and the hurdles they have to overcome..It is a very different story from all the other love stories, but the intensity of the characters is what makes this book so unique and so special...
