This story is not so much a romance story as a story of reconnecting and healing for a whole family. This family has suffered at the hands of one man but now they are ready to face and work on the future together. ( )

Book description
Fifteen years after his father kicks him out, Blake Denton returns to his North Carolina farm with long-time partner, Sullivan Fitzgerald, for Christmas. Things aren't what he expects.

The farm is different. His siblings are parents. His mother is stronger than she once was.

Though his father isn't home, his essence lingers. Could it ruin this Christmas?
