This is a great story to teach about chipmunks getting ready for a long winter. Beautiful pictures and great information. Grade-1st
This is a story about a chipmunk that lives in a tree on Hollow Tree Lane. The chipmunk is getting ready for the winter. She runs into adventure while searching for berries and acorns. This is a great fall time story, and it is a great story for learning about hibernation.
On a chilly fall day, Chipmunk hurries from an oak tree to another. Chipmunk is gathering seeds and acorns before the snow falls. She carries the food back to her burrow. Hopefully she will find enough food for storage before the cold weather forces her underground.
