"One Halloween Night" is a fun book. With vibrant and encompassing artwork, this tale of four friends and their mystical circumstances while trick or treating. Being chased by poetic witch classmates, the friends find magical ways to overcome adversity and fill their bags with candy. A read aloud session with a very young class would fit nicely into seasonal themes.

This would be a great story for an emerging reader. The words are simple to sound out but the sentences are long enough to encourage fluency. It was a cute story about a group of friends trick or treating. At first they think everything is going wrong but it turns out the wrong things about their costumes end up saving them from witches. Very cute book to promote a love of reading.

Four friends are excited for Halloween. They are so prepared to get lots of candy in their super cool costumes. Then Murphy's Law occurs. Something goes wrong with everyone that night, but some weird and unexplainable things happen. The use the "powers" that their consumes give them in order to outsmart a bunch of nasty school girls. The artwork is this story is extremely vibrant and beautiful and it captures your attention big time.
This book was great and the kids I read it to loved it! This book is great for retell because it has separate parts to it and students can definitely relate to it because it is Halloween. The artwork captures your attention because it picks great scenes and is very detailed.
Everything's going wrong for these three kids on Halloween after a black cat crosses their path. They discover that their costumes aren't just costumes tonight, however, as each of them uses skills from their costumes to escape a nasty group of girls from school.
38 months - nicely illustrated and the story was fun although a fairly typical trick or treating type one.
