Big dumb manly fun. Like other reviewers have said, don't think about it too hard, because it all starts to fall apart when you do.
Poor old Logan. He's so busy grieving the loss of his loved ones, and yet he still has to get it up for three women at a time (while another watches), then two hot sisters. He decides to blind himself to be with the hot sisters, and only has to stare at sunmetal for 10 seconds, but, 8 seconds in, gets some news that gives him a mission that he needs his sight for. No big deal, those 8 seconds did nothing.
Yeah, it's stupid, and characters are created and thrown at him just to give him villains, but overall, I've read a lot worse.
Read a lot better too, but read a lot worse, though for sure, there's diminishing show more returns in this second book. I'll read the last one and get back to you. show less

This sequel is, at the level of a simple thriller, probably more exciting than Logan's Run and also contains some quite horrible episodes, but it lacks the thought provoking nature of the original story and everything seems to happen too quickly. A very 70s feel to it and a quick read!
Read this when I was nine or ten ( I liked Jenny Augiter )
