Description

When life crashes down around us, how hard are we willing to fight for the one thing we can't live without, each other? Life is full of moments. Big moments. Little moments. And none of them are inconsequential. Every single moment prepares you for that one instance that defines your life. You must overcome all your fears, confront the demons that chase you, and cleanse the poison that clings to your soul, or you risk the chance of losing everything. Mine started the minute Rylee fell out of show more that damn storage closet. She made me feel. Made me whole when all I thought I could ever be was incomplete. Became the lifeline I never knew I needed. Hell yes, she's worth the how do you fight for someone you know you don't deserve? Love is full of ups and downs. Heart stopping highs. Soul shattering lows. And none of them are insignificant. Love is a racecourse of unexpected twists and turns that must be negotiated. You have to break down walls, learn to trust, and heal from your past in order to win. But sometimes it's the expected that's the hardest to hold on to. Colton has healed and completed me, stolen my heart, and made me realize our love's not predictable nor perfect-it's bent. And bent's okay. But when outside factors put our relationship to the test, what lengths will I have to go to prove to him that he's worth the fight? Whoever said love is patient and love is kind, never met the two of us. We know our love is worth it-have acknowledged that we were meant to be, but when our pasts crash into our future, will the repercussions make us stronger or break us apart? show less

I hereby dub K. Bromberg the queen of symbolism! She weaves it in her stories SO amazingly. Racing, candy bars, superheroes... so much symbolism!

On to the story...

Crashed picks up where Fueled left off. If you haven't read it, stop reading this review and go read it (and Driven as well!)

We all remember the cliffy that we were left with at the end of Fueled. The one that made us scream? The one that made me want to throw my kindle? Yeah, that one.

So, here we are with our lovely Colton broken and battered after his accident. I am not going to spoil it, but really... you can guess as to whether he lives or not ;) Wouldn't be much of a book without him, would it?

How Colton reacts to his injuries kills me. Just kills me. I show more wanted to throttle him more than once. (ok, maybe 50 or so times). I also wanted to scream at Rylee for taking it. I know, I know...she loved him. However, he was SUCH a douchebag. It was hard for me to get past it. I understand someone lashing out at the person that they love, especially when they are so broken (as Colton is) but DAMN! It was difficult to watch.

Then we have the redemption. Watching Colton become whole was amazing. It was so well written. I love that it wasn't easy. I love that it was WORK. I love how he did it. I love how Rylee supported his journey to becoming whole. *swoon*

There were parts of this book that gutted me. Parts that made me angry. Parts that made me cheer. Parts that made me cry. Parts that made me sappy. That is the mark of a wonderfully written book. When you run the gamut of emotions, you know you are reading something good. And believe me, I had emotions during reading this. LOTS of them!

I was sad to see the story of Colton and Rylee come to an end. It was a beautiful, difficult love story. Even though I was sad for it to end, I was so happy to read their epilogue. They really do get their HEA. It's worth all of everything they went through.

Now, here's the squee worthy news: Next up is Becks and Haddie. I am DYING to read Haddie's story. I just adore that girl!

"i race you Rylee..."

WOW!!!!!!! This was an amazing series! One of the best I have ever read. The characters are so compelling. The plot is so well thought out and original. There are so many copy cat books out there. Unlike so many books it carried over from book to book without repeating half of the last one. (if i'm on book three, i read 1 & 2!!). Thanks for that! The books read like one long novel that carried over phrases and memories from the previous ones that kept you from feeling a gap between them. If I didn't love my husband so much I woud be totally in love with Colton! Drool worthy is an understatement! I love how this book shows that perfection in people is not realistic. There is beauty inside us all, you just have to show more look for it. And sometimes, you have to find the one person who can show it to you. K. Broberg is a SERIOUSLY talented writer and I can't wait to read her next book! Becks and Haddie!!! Yea!!! show less

If you haven't read the first two books in this series you need to go back and read them first otherwise you'll miss a lot of the backstory that you need to know to really understand what is happening in this book.
K Bromberg had me in tears from start to finish with this 3rd book in the series - sad tears and happy tears but definitely a lot of tears. As Colton and Rylee struggle to help heal themselves and each other both physically and emotionally you can help but celebrate the Happily Ever After when it finally comes.
I waited to read this series until it was complete but now I wish I could have started with everyone else so that this would be my fourth or fifth time reading because it's that good!!! Cotton and Rylee are the perfect imperfect couple. Though everyone wants the HEA, how couples arrive there is r really what matters. Struggles and love are abundant in this trilogy and I promise that Chilton and Rylee will deliver plenty of drive, fuel, and crashes to entertain and complete the reading experience. Give Driven a test drive because you can't help but love these two!!!

I'm in awe with this story. I don't think any review will do it justice. Colton Donovan has stolen my heart and I don't think he will return it. K. Bromberg has outdone herself with this final installment. A must read story, buy the printed version as well, because I'm sure you won't let this story go, it will become. Permanent resident on your bookshelf and I'm certain cotton candy, superheroes, Pink and car racing will mean something else from now on.
