I still don't like Colton. I get that he has baggage but Rylee is the only one doing any giving in the 'relationship'. She even admits that she isn't cut out for his 'rules' but does he care? No, he keeps pushing her anyway. He tells her that he WILL break her heart. Does it stop him? No. I want to be mad at Rylee for not being stronger and standing up to him, but then I realized I would have done the same thing. Let some pretty boy walk all over me while I am the only one trying to made any changes or compromising anything. Rylee is the reason I gave the book 3 stars; if I didn't love her, it would have been 1 star.
That ending?!?!? That is the reason I will keep reading. I have to know!
First off I was a little hesitant to read this novel after so many DNF reviews. Yet there is only one way to find out if you're really going to like it for yourself by reading it. So I did.

While it was a little slow at the start and it took a while it get into, I still keep with it. And I'm glad that I did now. Well sort of... I have to read the next book in the series because of the cliff hanger ending. Not to happy about that.

Overall I enjoyed the journey. Fell in love with the characters and their story. Felt their emotions and was drawn into their little world.

Yes the story line is nothing for those who read this genre regularly, but I felt something different about this one. Guess it was the race car driving aspect. Different is good.

Ok, first things first...Cliffhanger alert! In a major way. If you can handle that, read on!

Meet Colton Donovan. Race car driver, manwhore, tortured soul. Behind the tortured soul, there is a caring, kind, loving man screaming to get out...if only Colton would let it.

“He exudes virility, evokes desire and commands attention all with a single look from his stunning eyes. He’s edgy and reckless and you want to go along for the ride hoping to get a glimpse of his tender side that breaks through every now and again. The bad boy with a touch of vulnerability who leaves you breathless and steals your heart.” – Rylee

And heat? Colton has that in spades.

I want to take my time with you, Rylee. I want to build you up nice and slow and

sweet like you need. Push you to crash over that edge. And then I want to fuck you the way I need to. Fast and hard until you're screaming my name.'

What? your panties just flew off? Yeah, mine too.

Now, meet Rylee:

Rylee has gone through hell and back and is just learning how to live again. When I heard her story, I audibly gasped. Poor thing. Despite the pain she has been through, she is strong.

"I will not be inconsequential, Colton. To you or anyone else."

You tell him, girl!

Driven's plot line isn't new, but it's very well done. You really feel fro both Colton and Rylee. They want each other badly, but they have so much to overcome. Colton doesn't do relationships and Rylee doesn't do meaningless hook ups. Talk about roadblocks!

There is a crazy amount of sexy heat in this book. Colton and Rylee practically combust when they are near each other and it is HOT to watch.

If you can handle cliffy, one-click this. If you can't, wait until the sequel comes out in August. Either way, it's worth the read!

I waivered back and forth on my rating for this. The last 30% pushed it up to 4 stars. I enjoyed this book and thought quite a bit about it when I wasn't able to read it (damn work!). I have one complaint about Rylee. I can't stand for the h to be so overcome with lust she can't make a logical decision. She was just so forgiving of his bad behavior which, at times, I didn't think H deserved. I get that he had "childhood" issues but get professional help already! Anyway, I'm left waiting impatiently for "Fueled" to come out.

It's not a perfectly written book either which doesn't bother me...just a warning for those it does bother. I could still understand it all just fine.
