Very interesting and complete history of the islands off the South Carolina coast around Charleston. Not as much detail on the Seabrooks as I'd like; a collation of other material that I've read elsewhere.

Of the 400 pages, only 200 are text; the remainder are appendices with the transcription of a journal from the 1900s, maps, indexes, etc. So less new information than I'd hoped.
