Pirates Love Underpants by Claire Freedman and Ben Cort is a hilarious and creative adventure that combines two things kids love—pirates and silly underwear! The rhyming text makes it super fun to read aloud, and the bright, playful illustrations bring the wacky story to life. It’s a perfect book for kids who enjoy humor and a bit of swashbuckling fun with a ridiculous twist!
I normally love the Underpants books, but this one fell a little flat. The rhymes were not as nice and the cadence a bit hard to follow. Plus much of the story seems to be missing the underpants fun of the other stories in this series.
This book is a funny book for children to read! It keeps the children engaged as the books are written in rhyme with short, catchy verses making it the perfect book to read to younger children or for older children to read on their own.
