I would use this book in a second, third, fourth, fifth, or sixth grade classroom when my students were learning about American History. It could be used as a learning tool when learning about chronological details. Students could even use this book to make a timeline of Daniel Boone's life. The book mentions the Shawnee Indians, the Louisiana Purchase, and the Wilderness Trail. It discusses several American occasions then people moved west to populate.
