This is a wonderful story about when a leaf blows into a barn and how if affects all of the animals. This is a humorous book and is intended for younger children.
This book is about when the leaf blew in the barn, its a good example of a chain reaction book because that is exactly what it was. Everything happens because of a leaf that blew in the barn to make the cow sneeze to scare the bird to hit the tree and so on. I liked this book a lot because it was fun to read and see how the leaf flew and what happened after each disaster. It was cool to see it happen all over again because of an animal sneezing. The grade level for this would be 2-4th grade.
I really enjoyed this book because each page began with the previous pages information. This book was an easy reader. I really like that the book began with the same phrase, "When the leaf blew in..." I really enjoyed that the sequence of the story showed cause and effect. The illustrations follow along with the story quite well.
Adorable circle story that takes place with barnyard animals. Good for pre-K thru 2nd grade.
This is a circle story. When the leaf blew into the barn the cow sneezed. This caused the spider to fall and scare the pig into the mud which made the goat kick the bucket, etc. until the bird flew out of the tree and blew a leaf into the barn again. This is a good book to do activities with like the circle drawings. also a good book to predict. This is a good one to read with kindergarten age students.
This is a great example of a chain reaction book. When the robin flew into the tree, the leaf blew into the barn, etc. I would read this to younger elementary students when learning about cause and effect.
When the Leaf Blew In follows a single leaf through a barn and causes chaos among the animals. It is meant for early to middle elementary. This book is great for teaching cause and effect situations as well as showing a circular storyline.
