When the leaf blew in shows the kids some of the animals that live on a farm. I would read this book with younger children and talk about the book in order. talk about stuff in order. ( )

This book introduces many different animals while possessing the literary element repetition. It talks about all the animals that are spotted around the farm. It is good for young children who are just learning different animals. It is also good because the pictures in the book are of the animals, so the children can associate the animal name with a picture. ( )

I really enjoyed this book because each page began with the previous pages information. This book was an easy reader. I really like that the book began with the same phrase, "When the leaf blew in..." I really enjoyed that the sequence of the story showed cause and effect. The illustrations follow along with the story quite well.
