Pretty fantastic movie with some gorgeous fight scenes and choreography. Even now years after watching this movie it really stuck with me.
Filled with lovely martial arts choreography and a fairy-tale-like story, this movie is a wonderful treat. The story is a romance with swords and weapons. Chinese martial arts fantasy in a most lovely setting.
Overinflated, but enjoyable.
There is a reason why Ang Lee cast professional ballerinas to do the sword fighting.
