I happened to be working for a CBS affiliate in Florida when 9/11 occurred. Although I was at home when the initial attack happened, I had to go to work later that afternoon (I worked the master control night shift) and remember the 24-hour coverage CBS had for several days. This book, complete with DVD containing key CBS reports, documents the initial shock, sadness, fear, outrage and anger in pictures and video. For historical purposes, I strongly recommend this book/DVD.
This book uses a DVD of the CBS news cast and eyewitness repots of the events of 9/11. The DVD is a nice thing to have to see and remember this horrible day.
First edition came with a disc of CBS news live coverage.
