So i just grabbed this at a yard sale one day several years back since i love short stories, and paid no attention to it until a few days ago when it was time to grab another book from my rather large fiction library, and i randomly chose it off the shelf. Come to find out it is a young adult Mormon book of short stories - not necessarily something i would have gone in search of since i am neither young adult nor Mormon! However, I have never walked away from a book once i have started reading, so i whisked through it rather quickly. Lots of insight into Mormonism which i have very little knowledge of, and i am always appreciative to have an opportunity to better understand things i know little about. Basically a set of moral challenges perplex a whole host of young seemingly normal Mormon teens and the stories always end up with a lesson for them and the reader to take away. Not gripping, rather predictable but not awful or unpleasant. I may be reading jackets of unknown short story collections at yard sales in the future..... ( ) no reviews | add a review
