These instructive books welcome young readers into the fascinating world of Earth's creatures and explore the marvels of the nature. Habitats, eating habits, size, and how natural phenomena occur are just a few of the topics discussed in the "Learn About Nature" series. Illustrated in full-color throughout. Good variation of colors which would attract a young child for a time, but the book itself is very boring. The book has potential, but the author neglects to talk about the different animals that can be found in the rain forest. Janet Craig writes this book explaining the shrubbery that could be found in a rain forest which is not quite as interesting as the surplus of animals that can be found in a tropical rain forest.
