The author imagination has no limits on providing new challenges to Thor and his group. On every turn of page you will find a real description of new monsters and new environments that the Empire world provides to Thor and we will see Thor developing more his powers and at the end, finding out who his real father is. Another very entertaining episode of this incredible saga. You will not get tired of following Thor, Gwendolyn and all our heroes in this new episode. Just be aware that in order to savor every moment of this episode, I recommend that you start reading from the first episode to better understand the dynamics among the characters, as well as have a full idea on the environment of the story. **SPOILERS AHEAD**
Na 6 boeken gelezen te hebben in deze serie, lijkt het mij dat deze niet langer meer een Young Adult serie. Zeker niet nadat Gwen verkracht werd. Dat lijkt me niet echt in het genre te passen.
De karakters lijken wel steeds dommer te worden. Of moet ik, om in stijl te blijven, dommer en dommer zeggen. Op een dode na, hebben Thor en zijn gezelschap hun reis wel heel erg goed te overleven tegenover vijanden die vele malen sterker en groter waren.
Hoe wisten de drie broers waar het zwaard verborgen was? Ze konden onmogelijk een deal gesloten hebben met het leger van Het Rijk.
Toevallig bevrijden Thor en zijn groep nou net het meisje dat precies de weg wist de grot van de draken.
Er waren te veel wonderen in het verhaal, zoals Alistair die Erec net op tijd redde van de dood.
Op belangrijke momenten kan Thor magie bedrijven om zich zelf en de anderen te redden.
Thor leert eindelijk wie zijn vader is, maar of hij er echt blij mee is..., hoe kon Gwen's moeder dit weten?
Hoe kan het dat Thor niet wist waar Gwen was, als ze in een vorig deel samen naar Silesia zouden vertrekken.
Schrijfstijl blijft slecht. Toch blijf ik lezen, want ja... het verhaal is in beginsel goed genoeg. (
