Leaving Hannah was the biggest mistake of Marco's life--something he has deeply regretted for years. So show more when fate reunites them, he refuses to let her go without a fight.

On Dublin Street Series #4

5 stars - Oh Wow, what an emotional ride this story was! Marco and Hannah are fantastic together. The passion and longing just intensified this story for me. It was well written, both characters dealing with their own issues at different times, then finally dealing with some of them together.

The narrator has a very soothing voice making it very easy to listen. In the beginning the story jumps from past to present and back, sometimes leaving me a bit confused, but usually not for long.

So happy I found this series and I can't wait for the next book!

The Characters

I’ve always liked Hannah and I admire the woman she has grown up to be. It hasn’t been easy but she never gave up. Getting to know Marco was great. He went through so much as a child but he was still so strong. I’m glad he has grown up to realize what a good man he is and that he deserves love.

The kiddies in this book were just so precious. Little Beth slays me and Dylan?? I want to cuddle him as much as Hannah does.

The Story

This book is a second chance love story and proves that sometimes things can’t work out until we grow up a little and learn to love ourselves. Hannah and Marco really go through the wringer both alone and as a couple. There was no doubt that in the end Marco would re-win Hannah’s affection. show more The question always was would Hannah forgive herself, face her fears and move on. I’m so glad she did and I imagine she, Marco and Dylan have a happy future together.

Narrated by Chloe Lynn. Book 4 in the On Dublin Street series, but I still haven't been able to obtain an audiobook of the first book, On Dublin Street.

She reads slowly and sonorously - it's a little unusual - not sure I liked it, but it did seem to suit the main character, Hannah Nichols.

She has such a crush on Marco D'Allessandro in high school, a boy who is about 3 years older when she is 15, it haunts her for the next 7 years, which is when we catch up with her story. That premise is the start of a sad, serious story.
It was a good read! Hannah and Marco are an excellent addition to the series. I love that we always catch up on old favorites in each new installment. This series never gets stale for me and I enjoy the emotional turmoil as its just enough to tug the heart but not to much to make you mad. As ever well done!
I loved it. 5 stars easy. I was an absolute mess the last half of the book. I thought it was well done and I totally understood where both characters were coming from. There angst was deep and painful, but tastefully done. I would recommend reading this series.
