Evie James is extremely successful on a professional level, she owns her own company and she is a multi millionaire. But on a personal level, not so much... And when she is hired to develop an app designed to be a fashion, flirtation and hitching guide, and decides to test it on a bar, it reveals to be a total disaster. Except for the fact that she manages to, unintentionally, get Caleb Anderson’s attention.

Caleb collects one night stands and that’s what he is looking for at the bar that night, but Evie’s clumsiness strangely gets his attention and he decides she will be the one he is going to spend the night with. And that is how Evie finds a willing partner to show more test the app with.

The next day Evie is back to work but she has a surprise: Caleb shows up to work on the app with her as the representative of the company who ordered it (and that is owned by his family). The thing is, unlike all the other women he has slept with, one night with Evie proved not to be enough, and Caleb uses the app as an excuse to spend more time with her. Which doesn't mean he wants more than sex, because Caleb doesn't do relationships. But Evie is clearly different from the other women he’s been with, so will he be really able to avoid the change that she can bring to his life?

“Crazy, Stupid Sex” is a funny novella, with very hot scenes. The beginning is a little implausible because Evie is described as being very sexy and attractive so, no matter how clumsy she was, I find it hard to believe it would be really that hard for her to find partners... But after the relationship between her and Caleb starts to develop the story got me hooked and it was a fun and compulsive read.

Evie is quite the nerd and isn't any good with hooking up. Since she's a professional app developer, she partners with Flirt magazine to make an app to help women like her find a hot guy. Of course, Evie has to test her app to see if it's working. After a couple failed attempts to hook up, Evie meets Caleb, who's attracted to her awkwardness. He's always been into one night stands and decides to show Evie what a hook up is all about. What he doesn't anticipate is how much he still wants her afterwards...

What a really cute storyline! It's not only unique, but a lot of fun to read. The hero and heroine were adorable together and I absolutely loved Evie's comical sarcasm. Her interaction with Caleb was always funny and kept the story show more interesting. The sex was new and kinky to both of them thanks to an "app" with sexual tips. The concept was adorable and the sex was an awakening for the hero and the heroine. The romance snuck up on Evie and Caleb and in the end, the way they dealt with it worked out perfectly for the two of them. Crazy Stupid Sex is the perfect afternoon "quickie" (lol)! show less

I loved it, again the cover and title were okay but the synopsis was what caught my eye. Evie is a programmer and is working on a relationship/sex app. She finds Caleb in a bar and surprisingly goes home with him for a one night stand in exchange for info for her app. This was a cute read, and in found myself smiling and chuckling through it. It was very pleasant and short in length, but well written. The story premise was followed and stayed true to the red hot read genre. The sex scenes were well written and the conversation between characters really good. Character building was good, I could feel Evies awkwardness, and Caleb's smooth pick up lines. Overall entertainment value show more was four stars. I would definitely read from this author again. show less
Because of the title, I wouldn't sure what kind of storyline this book would have. But it definitely was different than I thought. I enjoyed the story being about a girl who seem like a nerdy girl who never had a good relationship. But when the right man comes along, he helps her discover a different side to herself.
I didn't enjoy it. Nerdy girl meets wealthy, studly man. Finds himself attracted to said girl, etc. Etc. Only new twist is the dating app used as the means of them meeting.

Nothing interesting enough to make it good. Only gave it 2 stars verses just 1 because it wasn't necessarily bad. Just boring.

Evie James isn’t really trying to pick up a guy. Okay, she is, but not in the way you think. She doesn’t want to ‘seal the deal’, she’s just looking to get guys interested. Testing an app she’s writing for Flirt magazine that would supposedly help to land you a guy. However, it wasn’t working for her. Read More
