I enjoyed this book even more than I thought I would. It was fun reading about Jared's story and I could relate to a lot of what he said, even though I'm just overweight, not morbidly obese. He says this isn't a diet book, and while I can see where it was going with the other ideas, it really seems to serve best to those of us who have struggled with our weight.
picked this up out of curiosity because I remember the peak of the Jared commercials. I didn't have any great hopes but figured I'd enjoy a light, fluff read. It was shockingly better than I expected.

If I'd read this before I started on my WLJ, or before beginning WW, I'd hhave been surprised at someone eating 10K calories, but I've learned a lot about eating habits of late. Jared's scale obsession was the other direction of mine. He didn't want to know - I "need" t know but I think it worked well for him. Kudos on him for sticking with what would work for him. Filling the void is impressive. One day I want ot be where he is.
A very quick and easy read. Somewhat inspirational.
