Norman Bridwell infringes on Richard Scarry territory with two-page spreads that depict a scene -- including a farm, classroom, a park, etc. -- labeled with a scattering vocabulary words. There's no real story, just words everywhere. Too many words!

It's incredibly tedious to read if it is not being used as an educational tool.
