Cat fishing is using social media to scam another person hiding your true identity. While investigating the case of cat fishing that is targeting Sinful women and bilking them of their money, there is the murder of one of the nicest women in town. Swamp Team 3 is there, doing their southern manners to help the grieving widower.
Every time I read a Miss Fortune mystery I don't think that Jana DeLeon can have topped the previous installment. Well I am wrong again! I laugh so hard at the various situations that Fortune, Ida Belle and Gertie get into, my poor husband thinks I'm nuts.
What more can a reader ask for than a well-thought out mystery with various threads to be gathered together, a group of characters that are so real and the show more chance to spend an evening laughing with enjoyment.
If you have a down day this series will turn that down right up. show less

I am enjoying this series thoroughly. Somewhat mindless, but well written and engaging characters. This one has Fortune's friend Ally as the victim of arson and other possible crimes. Fortune, Ida Belle and Gertie to the rescue! Much to the chagrin of the ever charming and sexy Deputy Carter. Just a nice fun read that helps one get their mind off of how absolutely horrible the world is becoming right now.
This is the 4th book of the Miss Fortune series. It was just as funny as the first three with some interesting twists. I just love these characters! These books are a great escape when life gets stressful.
I LOVE Jana deLeon! Her characters are quirky and oh so funny! I am always laughing out loud!
I can’t get enough of the Miss Fortune series. Humorous and mystery. Each book keeps getting better.
