This book would be great to read in classrooms kinder through second grade. I would use this book to further help my students express their feelings. I want to make sure my students feel safe in the classroom. This book expresses how zero felt empty and left out cause the kids didn’t use it to count until they started counting higher numbers and now zero feels whole inside.
I haven't read any other books by this author- but really enjoyed this one. Lots of details to talk about with kids (like when 2 starts turning a little green and the math language used throughout).
Too heavy-handed to be enjoyable, and not even original, really. Three's reformation is abrupt, w/ no reason behind it. I can't imagine this book being successful.
