Suspense, romance

Ok, so I had to overlook the bizarre reactions of Ivy. Tragic past and she jumps right in with a guy who BROKE INTO HER HOUSE!?!?! When her friends/roommate question her sanity, I had to agree. However, that aside, it was an action packed book that was enjoyable! (

This was an incredible book. I have really come to admire the way this author writes. In this book, Ivy Mason is hiding secrets of her past. She faced abuse that no child should ever have to endure. After moving away, she meets a customer at her bank. Mysterious, dangerous, exotic, British and a complete badass - Devon. Devon is a British spy who holds back as Ivy falls hopelessly head over heels for him. He puts her in harms way, but also keeps her safe. Is there anything he won't do for her? This was an incredible journey of wonder, lust, love, death and a chance at a happy life.

I would, without any hesitation recommend this series to anyone. There was murder, sex, love and thrill within all the pages that kept me pushing to the next chapter. I definitely chose to continue reading verse getting a good night sleep. (

I wanted to like this book so much! I've loved everything else from this author that I've read, but this one...I just couldn't get into it, I guess? I'm not finding it believable enough, I suppose; I'm not real sure what it is about this book that turns me off so much, but it really does and that makes me sad.

Not a huge fan. I MIGHT have liked it better if Devon hadn't come back at the end. I was kinda diggin' the idea of Ivy and Agent Lane. *Sigh* Probably won't keep reading unless someone tells me she doesn't pick Devon. *Shrugs*
