Jim Andrews of Universal Petroleum hires Duke to parachute into Iran and get the oil flowing again. Zeke Brenner is introduced as Duke's caretaker. David Halberstam interviews Rick Redfern for his book on power. Duke is captured in Iran and stood up for execution. Joanie's daughter, J.J. (Mike's future first wife) is introduced, and becomes Honey's college roommate. Duke is declared dead and his estate is left to Zonker. Mike and Zonker put on a "Seventies Revival Party". Iranian "students" take over the U.S. embassy. ( )
