Fool Me Once

This chick-let romance is entertaining even if it is predictable. Olivia is shocked and dismayed when the truth about her family history is disclosed to her. How she deals with the problems that were foisted upon her make for an interesting tale. With a bit humor thrown in this light romance, this story has a likable protagonist and believable characters, some not so nice. While Olivia was loathe to accept her mother’s legacy, many of us would have welcomed it!

Olivia finds out that her mother didn't die when she was very young, but didn't want her at birth. Now her mother's lawyer shows up with her mother's will and a letter from her mother asking her to find her mother's two friends and correct a mistake from her past. It also involves a story about cute Yorkie terriers. It was a cute story and a page turner. I do want to read her next story called "Up Close And Personal."

Cute, easy read but enjoyable even though it's simple. It would be a good book to take on a vacation where you want to relax and not think too much.

Totally unrealistic. Author does not appear to have any real life experience. Story is just a hodgepodge of ideas thrown together in an attempt to create a story.

Olivia was always told her mother had died and when she was an adult, an attorney arrived with papers leaving her with a fortune. Another death left an attorney (her soon to e fiance) as guaranture of her terrier (along with a fortune). A long lost relative appeared in that situation and signed over the dog to them.
Her mother revealed she and 2 college friends committed a crime long ago and needed all to be "righted."

Great story involving dogs. Humor, romance, mystery (sort of).
