Author Andrew J. Offutt was born in Kentucky on August 16, 1934. He was an American science fiction, and fantasy author. He also wrote erotic works under twelve different pseudonyms, some of which included John Cleve, J.(John) X. Williams, Jeff Douglas, Turk Winter, Farrah Fawkes, & Baxter Giles. His main works in this area included the historical show more "Crusader" series. In his science fiction and fantasy books, he wrote the "Spaceways" series.
