Description
This novel maps out the mind and emotions of Captain Storr as he focuses on a crucial question - is his young wife Lizzie unfaithful or not? But for every scenario that suggests infidelity, there are equally deceptive and valid viewpoints refuting such suggestions.Tags

Fust gives Captain Storr a fascinating voice and character, but the obsession and delusion get old after a while. The Vintage edition is riddled with typos, which is annoying.
