Goblins in Green by Nicholas Heller goes through the entire alphabet introducing monsters who live in an attic. The vocabulary in this book is very expressive and will definitely have to be defined to children. But, I think it would be great to take vocabulary from this book to add to a spelling test or writing assignment. It is great for a learning experience in a fun way. The illustrations are fun, colorful, but dark and monster like. It would be great around Halloween. ( )
